The Department of physical education is continuously working to promote sports and other physical activities. The Department has been working progressively for upgrading the sports infrastructure of the college along with imparting theoretical knowledge about various aspects of sports and its discipline.

It organizes and enables students participation in several intra-college, inter-college, inter- University, national and international tournaments and offers Physical education as a discipline- specific core adding glory to the college both in terms of academics and co- curricular.

The department is consistently working for the holistic development of the students by organizing events for them so that they can be a valuable part of the wide realm of physical education.
