On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Devanga College of Arts organized various competitions to promote the artis and science skills of college students. As part of it, college students celebrated Women’s Day by sitting in a row in the college grounds in the shape of the International Women’s Day 2024 logo.

The program was chaired by the Head of the Department of Chemistry Dr.S.Hemalatha and Associate Professor Dr. J. Sharmili chaired the event. Associate Professor Dr. C. Rajalakshmi of the Department of Commerce gave the welcome speech.

In the program that followed, Our College Principal (i/o) Dr. R. UMARANI gave a special speech on the topic of Equality in the present and talked about the lifestyle of women in the present environment and the important role of women in the society. Prizes were also given to the students who won various competitions.

Finally, Tamil Department Associate Professor Dr. S. Veeralakshmi delivered the vote of thanks. A large number of college professors and students participated in this program.
