The short film Thanga Meengal was screened at Devanga Arts College, Aruppukottai, on December 17, 2024, at Sadhu Kalai Arangam. The first telecast, starting at 10:15 AM, was inaugurated by Dr.R.Nagarajan, Head of the Department of Mathematics. The second screening began at 11:40 AM, with the inauguration by Dr.R.Umarani, the principal in charge. Dr.N.Mala, Head of the Department of Physics, coordinated the event, which was attended by both students and faculty. The program was organized by the Youth Welfare and Fine Arts Committee of the college.
