In an effort to bring awareness among the students about Karisal Ilakkiyam (Black Soil Literature), the pride of the Virudhunagar belt, and on the basis of the GO of respected District Collector, Karisal Kaattu Ilakkiya Thiruvizha (Black Soil Literary Festival) was conducted on 17.10.2023 in our prestigious institution, Devanga Arts College, Arupukottai.

              Various competitions were held among students from different colleges. The central theme of the competition was to highlight the culture, everyday exigencies, and the laborious efforts of the people of the Black Soil.
