The event was organized jointly by the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission and Devanga Arts College to market products made by women’s self-help groups.

The event, called “College Sandhai” (College Market), was inaugurated with an opening ceremony on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:15 a.m.

This event was inaugurated by the Head of the Department of Mathematics of Devanga Arts College, Dr.R.Nagarajan, by cutting the ribbon.

Also, the Joint Director of the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Movement, Mr.George Michael Antony, the Project Officer, Ms.Vanitha, and Dr.S.Hemalatha, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr.P.Gopal, Head of the Department of Economics, Mr.P.Sundara Moorthy, Head of the Department of Commerce, all inaugurated the function by lightening the traditional lamp.

The event, which will run from 09-09-2025 to 11-09-2025, has been arranged to benefit the students of the college.
