The 56th Annual Sports Meet of Devanga Arts College was successfully conducted on 29th January 2026 at the college ground, marking yet another milestone in the institution’s proud sporting tradition. The event brought together students, staff, and faculty in a vibrant celebration of athletic excellence, teamwork, and discipline.

We were honored to have Er.D.Kannan, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District, as the Chief Guest. His inspiring address motivated students to pursue sports with dedication and integrity. He also distributed prizes to the winners, recognizing their hard work and achievements across various competitions.

The meet was organized under the guidance of Dr.T.Hari Krishnan, Director of Physical Education, with the support of Dr.R.Umarani, Principal I/C. Their leadership ensured the smooth execution of the event, which concluded with great enthusiasm and applause. The Sports Meet not only highlighted the talent of our students but also reinforced the college’s commitment to fostering holistic development through academics and athletics.
