On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Devanga Arts College, Aruppukottai, proudly hosted the “Ulagam Ungal Kaiyil” (The World in Your Hands) event — a special ceremony dedicated to distributing laptops to college students, empowering them for a digitally driven future.

The event was graced by Hon. Minister K.K.S.S.R.Ramachandran, Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Tamil Nadu, who served as the Chief Guest. His presence and inspiring address underscored the government’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and enhancing educational access for youth across the state.
