Devanga Arts College is able to introduced a skill based paper “Corporate Communication” for the benefit of outgoing students. In fulfilling the Industrial requirements the college offers a Diploma Course, “Placement Training” to the final year students.The long-cherished aspiration of the Devangars to help fostering education among the youngsters of Aruppukottai and its suburbs who are not able to go for collegiate educations solely because of monetary indisposition has by the grace of Goddess Sri Sowdambigai Amman found its fulfilment in instituting this college by steps taken by the Aruppukottai Town Devangar Commercial Association.Empowerment programme, Placement Training and Smart Class come under regular academic programmes of this college.

Our History
1972
Our College Started

In the year 1972, Our College started to function with Pre University Classes from the UGC, the college was accorded recognition under 2(F) and 12(B).

1995
Our College Shifted to New Campus

In the year 1995, the college shifted from its old campus to its new 40 acre campus. Since 1995, the college gained a new face lift in developing infrastructure that suites the needs of the students as well the university.

2003
Our College gets NAAC Accreditation

In the year 2003, NAAC peer team visited the college. The college was accredited and Graded ‘A’.

2008
Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)

In the year 2008, The State Government of Tamilnadu decided o introduce the ‘Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)’ in all over the state at college level. The college accepting the norms and conditions proposed by the Government of Tamilnadu keeping an eye on the autonomous status, gets into this new structure from this academic year onwards.

2020
Our College Affiliated to MKU

In the year 2020, Madurai Kamaraj University team visited the college. The college was affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University and Re-Accredited with NAAC 'A' Grade.
